Yoto is a clever speaker designed by families, for families, using Montessori principles to empower children through play.

Young children can slot physical cards into Yoto to unlock a library of curated and child-safe music, stories and interactive learning games. Each card unlocks different content, so children can control what they want to listen to by choosing which card to play with. Yoto gives children access to a world of magical experiences to help enhance playtime.

Yoto was founded with a vision to change the way children access audio content – in tangible, playful way with no screens. The Yoto platform is a curated library of music, stories and learning for children aged 2-8 with its own clever speaker that children control with physical smartcards. Yoto launched its first product on Kickstarter in November 2017 reaching its funding target after only 5 days and is ready in Summer 2018.
